Terms and Conditions

Booking Policy

  • 50% deposit is required to secure a booking
  • 100% payment is required before check-in
  • Same-day bookings are generally not accepted, but please contact us in such a case
  • If your arrival is only 7 days away, then we require the full amount to be paid in one payment

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation of the booking 7 days before arrival will result in forfeiting 100% of the full total amount
  • Cancellation of the booking 14 days before arrival will result in forfeiting 100% of the deposit
  • Cancellation of the booking 21 days before arrival will result in forfeiting 50% of the deposit
  • Cancellation of the booking 30 days before arrival will result in forfeiting 25% of the deposit

Check-in and Check-out Policy

  • Check-in is between 3pm and 10pm, unless otherwise arranged and agreed
  • Check-out is between 7am and 10am, unless otherwise arranged and agreed

General Policy

  • We are pet friendly!
  • No smoking allowed
  • No parties or events allowed
  • High wattage equipment like the iron, dishwasher and hair dryers can only be used during 10am and 4pm
  • The pressure pump that supplies water to the house will be off from 22:00pm to 7:00am. Guests are advised that showers should be used before 22:00pm in the evenings or after 7:00am in the mornings. Drinking water will be provided for the night at each wash basin
  • No microwave
  • No WiFi
  • We do not offer cleaning services
  • Our dogs, cats, horses and bees also live on the property but will not be in your fenced area - guests are requested not to enter this area without being escorted by one of the hosts
  • The house has a camera system which will be off in the immediate vicinity of the house during your visit except for key security points
  • Guests are advised not to interact with any wildlife as we are in a natural environment
  • We are on solar power so you might experience a power outage if it rains a lot - we have a back-up generator for rainy days
